I ordered the pants in "L" and got a "2XL". It may have been a mistake from the shop, but I'm glad about it, because otherwise the pants probably wouldn't have fit me. I have wider thighs and would advise anyone who is not quite as slim to order at least 2 sizes up if the pants are really tight, 3 sizes up if you want them to be looser.
Maybe as a reference for others: in normal department stores I wear trousers in size "M" or "38/40"
